Tandoori Host, a charming family-run Pakistani restaurant located in Maple, Ontario, has captured the hearts of many with its authentic flavors and passionate service. The reviews reflect a unanimous appreciation for the culinary delights this establishment offers. Customers rave about the nihari, described as having buttery tender meat, bursting with flavors reminiscent of home-cooked meals. The keema naan and nawabi channa have also received high praise for their freshness and rich tastes.
However, it's worth noting that service has received mixed feedback; while some patrons like Araash Chothia enjoyed a warm welcome from the staff, others felt ignored during their visits. Despite this, the food's quality shines through, leading many, including Faraz Anwar and Sanesh Tiwari, to overlook the service hiccups. With dishes like halwa poori and refreshing lassi featured among many, Tandoori Host is a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Pakistani cuisine. The promise of great flavors and the close-knit feel of the restaurant makes it a special place that many look forward to revisiting.

Family run Pakistani restaurant serving freshly cooked food at reasonable prices from a friendly, passionate and confident owner. As a pescatarian, my options were more limited, yet I was not disappointed by the Lahore channa served here that was spicy and extremely flavourful. A bonus was the fluffy naan served with it. Looking forward to trying their Biryani and other dishes soon.

I would like to start of by saying that the food was incredible! Tastes exactly like someone’s mom had made it and based on the staff I could see I’m pretty sure that’s the case. The nihari was full of flavours, more than usual. Buttery tender meat and the paaya was also phenomenal. The naan and keema naan were probably one of the best I’ve ever had, fresh out of the tandoor. That being said the service was utter disappointment. The gentleman sitting at the counter, not sure owner or employee had zero care about his surroundings. Waited at the counter for about 5 minutes for him to finish his phone call(did not sound important at all). And he didn’t even acknowledge me standing there. He took his sweet time to finish and then casually took the order. So it’s understandable that despite having amazing food why the restaurant was dead and reviews aren’t great. Still I’d recommend going there just for the food and overlook the service, it’s definitely worth it.

Great place to eat traditional Pakistani food great portions and extremely fresh out of the kitchen. All the food was super hot and nice naan. Definitely a little too oily for me. Nice chai and lassi. Ahmad was super helpful and funny he took great care of us, will definitely come back to meet him.

First time to this place, was looking for Nihari and google showed Tandoori host as one Option. I was looking for Pakistani taste. Ordered Nihari, Paiy, Haleem and Channa on the chef’s choice. Fully satisfied with the taste and crispy naans. I will surely recommend it for trying Pakistani taste.

Was a bit sad to find the restaurant is closed. Did you folks open a new location or have you retired the business? Wishing the owners all the best....we truly enjoyed the halwa poori and keema naan.

I alwasy hear bad about them but one day I went there with my friends. We enjoyed a lot of good food, nice people. AND FOOD IS TOTALLY FREE if you go with your friends and let them pay. And at the time of the bill, go to the washroom. And take your time.

After an enjoyable and tiring day at Canada's Wonderland, found this gem of a place right across the street. Fresh and authentic desi cuisine. Naan were amazing, BBQ entrees are a must try. Loved the Goat Paya. Chicken Biryani is also top notch. This place is a great find.

The butter chick was OUTSTANDING! The uncle and aunties that work there are so friendly, it’s a small place but it feels like you’re at someone’s home and they’re hosting you. Will definitely come back :)
